Hi Everyone! Hope you had a great three day weekend thanks to Labor Day and everyone who works so hard for our country!! I know it is the beginning of September but before we know it we will be into October which is Breast Cancer Awareness month! Now, I know you all know that Driven by Heart actually deals with “breast cancer awareness” all year long but what you might not know is how we are funded. We are funded entirely by our two signature fundraisers (our luncheon which we had to cancel in March and our new event, our Golf Tournament which is Saturday October 17, 2020) and by kindness and generosity of the folks of Brevard County.
We are not funded by any larger breast cancer organizations etc. Our goal is to make sure no woman goes through breast cancer alone and I believe we are pretty good at that, but we can not continue to do what we do without your support…..so….please, when you are thinking about making a donation or doing some of your own fundraising, please remember Driven by Heart and our mission to help our gals……quite likely you or someone you love.
