I had something I wanted to share and sometimes I struggle with being “politically correct”……but this is important so if anyone is offended…..just know it was with the best intentions.
We had a “situation” with one of our family members…..so, off to the Dr. to get the “news” after the necessary testing…..I get that each office has their own style of presentation of the plan, but you should always get a second opinion if you aren’t feeling completely “ok” with the plan. Our family patient was worried about upsetting the first office………this is your health….first of all the office shouldn’t be upset, they should encourage you to get a second opinion so you are completely confident in where you are going and the procedure you are having. As it turns out in this situation the second opinion was a charm…..everything clicked and we knew what the decision would be. Now, moving forward a whole level of unnecessary stress is eliminated.
Remember, this is all about you!!!
I just had a lumpectomy with sentinel lobe biopsy. Has any one experienced hand tingling and numbness of the hand of the side operated on? I did some searching but only found reference to armpit numbness or shoulder. I am wondering if this is normal. Thank you for all the support.
